The exhibition celebrates art and influence of the movement of hip-hop.
The first exhibition of College of the district Hudson of the new year presented by Department of culture of Hudson County Community College (HCCC) is one of the most unique and investigates the cultural phenomenon, hip-hop.
Exhibition, "Hip-hop Utopia: Culture + the Community" was supervised Michel Vitale and Fred Fleischer, and can be considered since Monday, January 23rd till Tuesday, February 21st in Benjamin Dzh. Dineen, III & Dennis C college. Gallery of the case, 71 Sip Avenue in Jersey City. The exhibition and all connected events are open for all community and there is free entrance.
Since its beginning hip-hop has given a voice marginalized and deprived of the civil rights. Today, traffic jams of the park have developed in global community of courageous expression which influences and provides the comment about the current problems including culture, an ethnic origin, a class and a floor. The exhibition shows artists Carlos Karkomo, Raphael Gonsalez and the street fan of art among others. Work of Mr. Karkomo has been shown across New York, including Space of Artists, the Brooklyn museum, the PS1 Center of the Modern art, El Museo del Barrio and the Art museum of Queens everywhere. The photographer Raphael Gonsalez (differently Zurbaran 1) has created visually dynamic images of street art which, first of all, concentrate on artists at work within several years. Mr. Gonsalez often cooperates with sidewalk artists whom he photographs; his work included some most famous graffiti artists in the world, including Giz, the Transaction 1, Noir and Fumero. The popular art blog concentrated on graffiti, STREETARTNYC which is supervised by Lois Stavsqui in a digital form will be shown in Gallery as a part of an exhibition. STREETARTNYC has been recognized for a gain of some biggest graffiti from around the world.
"Hip-hop utopia: The culture + Community" an exhibition will also include artists and partners of community Bicycles Grove Street, Collective Chilltaun, and the artist Yisheya Minkin, and also graduates of College of the district Hudson Freddie Semboya, Alex Melo, Elijio A. Rosa and Clerc Caron.
Reception of an exhibition is planned for evening of Tuesday, January 31st from 18:00 till 20:00. Also there will be a public discussion with the artists of an exhibition and associates called "A utopia or Crisis" on Wednesday, February 8th since midday till 14:00.
Hearing session with two parts, "Tuesdays of the Player", showing Jersey the DJs of Kevlouv Placed in the city and Ankl Chip will occur on February 7th and on February 21st from 18:00 till 20:00.
