Every time when I make the important decision, I always make sure that I reflect in advance. Obviously, you can never be impartial, but you make the decisions which are based objectively that you he thinks going to be better for you instead of taking into account some discontent or some crush or regardless of the fact that this, is a type of coloring of your judgment.
You should have no problems with concern or low mood to benefit by meditation, in my opinion. Existence of understanding of your thoughts and implementation of level of control over them can't be a bad thing.
