Police search for the victim as 15-year-old shouting racial abuse and includes employees of DLR and officials
Passengers and police officers abused and assaulted in Shadwell DLR train on Wednesday morning rush hour (18 January).
A teenage girl shouting abuse at passengers at 8.10am, as the train station. BTP officers believe that she also hit a man on the train.
The employee tried to intervene, and the girl was then racially abusive towards them. The officers were then called to the station, but she hit the officer.
15-year-old girl from Croydon was detained by the British transport police on suspicion of having committed an offense of racially aggravated public order and assaulting a police officer and evading fares. She was released on bail the police to return on February 15.
Investigator PC Maya Alayli, said: "We are making inquiries to establish exactly what happened on the train after talking with witnesses and viewing CCTV, I believe that the person may have been stamped on the train if you are that person, you will get, .. please contact us as soon as possible.
"This type of behavior is unacceptable. No one should ever be subjected to violence or attacks on the rail network."
